Explore Cambodia’s wondrous ancient Khmer temples with a professional local tour guide.

Learn all about Cambodia’s vast history and the Khmer people’s religious beliefs and legends depicted on the bas-reliefs of  temples such as Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple), some of the most well known of the many magical temples scattered over the lush tropical landscape.

Secluded Temples

We offer you a look into the less toured temples where the magic of these giants can be truly experienced without the crowds.

Soak in the complete peace and tranquility of these private and very beautiful temple ruins.

Enjoy a peaceful picnic while exploring the beauty of these magnificent ancient wonders.

Cambodian Friendship School in the Village

Visit your adopted Cambodian Friendship School and get involved in classroom activities with the children. See and experience how vastly different a Cambodian child’s education is in comparison to our western education.

The children love to have students from another country come to join them and share their culture with you while also learning about your culture. Much fun is had through playing sports, outdoor games and indoor craft together.

This is the most warming experience that will stay with you for life.

Buddhist Temple

Visit your Cambodian Friendship School’s local Buddhist pagoda and learn about the role Buddhism plays in the everyday lives of the local Cambodians. Receive a blessing from the resident Buddhist monks of the temple. Enjoy a friendly chat with the monks afterwards as you learn about the life of a monk and they learn about your life in your home country.

We have always found Cambodian monks to be the most friendly people and always so keen to practice their English while chatting with foreigners!

Rural Village

Take a trip to the rural village where your adopted Cambodian Friendship School is located and experience intimately, the everyday life of a subsistence farming family in Cambodia.

Visit a local village family’s home,  interact with the children and soak up every detail of a village home environment, a vast difference to our own homes in Australia.

Join the family in their everyday chores around the home and in the field and truly experience Cambodia.

Cambodian Local Markets

Take  a stroll through the  local markets in Siem Reap where you can get a feel for the local way of life. This is where locals come each day to buy their local produce and household needs. It is a busy hub of the local community and a great way to experience the bustling centre of Cambodian daily life. Barter with the locals and taste some tropical local fruit and unusual delicacies.  A vast contrast to our large air conditioned grocery stores and shopping centres!

This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to see the difference in cultures between our wealthy developed country and a poor developing country like Cambodia..

Floating Villages

We take you on a boat trip through the local villages on the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest body of fresh water in South East Asia.

Marvel at the unique lifestyle of local communities living on the water in high stilt houses, making their livelihood fishing on the lake.

Sacred Mountain and Waterfall

Enjoy a day trip to the beautiful waterfall and local picnic area where locals come to relax and enjoy a meal together with the extended family.

We will also visit a sacred religious site.

This is a delightful day out mixing with the local population spending a day in the life of what local families do to relax.
